The Dinsmore Homestead Foundation
The Dinsmore Homestead Foundation purchased the home in 1988
and operates it today. Nearly all the accumulated contents of
the home and outbuildings still survive. A collection of nearly
90,000 pages of family documents, including letters, journals
and business records, are on microfilm. The Dinsmore Homestead
Foundation plans to expand the scope of the site to offer research
facilities on early Ohio River Valley culture. Other plans include
developing the site as a working pioneer farm.
