A published poet, she kept a detailed journal of her life on
the farm.The Dinsmores were a well-educated and well-traveled
family.
Recent History
In 1987, the Dinsmore Homestead Foundation purchased the home
and approximately 30 acres to preserve the site. A collection
of nearly 90,000 pages of family letters, journals and business
records have been preserved on microfilm for use at the Dinsmore
Homestead.
