The new Heritage Center

Built at a cost relatively reasonable by today’s standards, it will allow us to continue to fulfill the promise made to the Dinsmore family.

The 6,000 square foot building will include:
• An admissions office, gift shop, and restrooms
• Three offices
• Two educational spaces
• A warming kitchen
• A large, attached pavilion

We will be able to:
• Expand our calendar for school field trips to accommodate over 5,000 students per year
• Double the capacity of daily visitors
• Serve as a vibrant and more accessible resource for research
• Offer education, special interest programs, and exhibitions
• Host social events including weddings, gatherings, fundraisers, business meetings, and retreats

Invest in the next phase of our history.

We need your support to reach our $1.5 million goal— every gift makes a difference.
We invite you to consider one of our giving levels and we are seeking partners to naming rights for rooms and other parts of the project.
